Here you will find the Kilauea volcano that is one of the earth's most active within the 333,000 acres of the park. Over 150 miles of hiking trails exist and will take you through volcanic craters, rainforest and scalded desert.

You may also walk through a lava tube, visit the parks museum, explore the Kilauea Visitor Center, take the Crater Rim Drive and watch the steam vents in the Halemaumau Crater.
